Experience

Currently working as a freelance designer. (2016)

I've recently worked with engineering companies as well as working on a few personal projects; a game to help teach programming to school students, for which I won Nurture's 2015 Young Entreprenuer Award and an unannounced indie game.

I held a senior role at Canalside Studios (2013 - 2014) whilst carrying out Master's research. This involved helping run the day to day operation of the studio and assisting on a the majority of projects being developed at the studio:

UI design work for AR app Framing the Landscape, a mentoring role for Appy Student, research assistant on European Music and Archaeology Project and developing my own research work with West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service.

As part of my sandwich year I worked with a school to develop a game to help inspire and educate GCSE physics students.

Previously I have worked as a freelance graphic designer (2008 / 2009) - clients included Shelly Telly, local NHS, Norfolk County Council and Norwich Pride. I have also worked in schools giving talks to students on computer game design and delivering teacher training.

I'm an alumni and proud supporter of the Young Enterprise scheme.
